My Future Plans

I plan on having a job within the marketing field in ten years. My ideal job would be advertising for a major athletic team however I know that there are only a certain amount of sports teams which means that there is not a lot of opportunities for a job within that field. I am also wanting to have a job with commercial advertising if I can not find one with a sports team. I would like to live somewhere in the south close enough to a city for my job but not within the city. I would like to live in a subdivision that is a lot like the one I live in now. It is a family neighborhood that holds several events on major holidays where the whole neighborhood gets together to hang out and celebrate together. I would like to have a comfortable lifestyle where I am not in major debt, but I do not need to have huge house or a lot of money.

Response to Video
I think the video shows how massive the web has become. It shows how you can connect to so many different things with just one change in a sentence. I like the title. The internet is a machine that uses what we put on there in order to receive data. We help create the information we look up. The internet affects someone already in the work force because so much of today's world involves being able to use online resources. There is so much information out on the web that in order to keep up with the rest of the world it is important to use the internet. It says we need to rethink a few things like privacy, ethics, and identity because of the internet. With information become easier to find there needs to be some line drawn that tells what is ok for people to find on the internet and what is not.

About Me...

Hi my name is Stephanie. I am from Simpsonville, SC and I this will be my second semester here at Clemson. I transferred this past fall to Clemson from Erskine College which is a small private school in Due West, SC with only about 600 students. I originally went there on a soccer scholarship but tore my ACL for the second time playing my freshman year. Took a break from soccer for a little while but have recently started play intramurals and pick-up again. I transferred to Clemson to become a marketing major because it was not offer at my old school. I love sports and being outside and hope to get a job advertising for a sports team one day. I have really enjoyed being at Clemson so far and look forward to my remaining time here.
